Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 519d7fd4f8 new version of body with just one slot at the bottom to make space for shielding the printed circuit boards; more work on the shock mount for the microphone assembly hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano ec823ec632 add ridge fit parameters to mount module hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano e2c2a4ffd4 fix the rounded corners of all boxes so that the wall is constant thickness, create another function for the support ring of the shock mount, calculate radius of support ring based on the approximate angle of the elastic bands and the separation between the body rings hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 6f79316ce3 start work on a shock mount for the whole microphone assembly (the microphone sits on the shock mount) hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano e75115f167 render capsules with more facets, tune some fits for new printer, add one more parameter to capsule code to better fit the mount slots to the capsule array, actually fix the sign of the previous fit parameter (was making things smaller, not bigger), modify calls to do the right thing hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 98d24b539d add rfit parameter to the capsule module, this is needed so that carving the slots for the conical section of the mount works better; also adjusted the radius of the conical section of the mount so that it fits the capsule array - the code there is probably not correct and needs to be revised hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 71b503fac6 add a couple more parameters, first try at ccrma logo hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano f28732e7ef first try at including the microphone array in the complete design, include common scad file hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 1e51bf2d99 added TinySpHEAR_common to hold all the modules and functions common to all the tetrahedral microphones hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano e4aa923e74 first iteration of a mount that holds four interface printed circuit boards hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano d57bec9bb3 we need a thicker stalk and conic mount section, otherwise wires do not fit - reality check hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano baa4906f96 change conic section to sllipsoid so there is more room for the cables hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano f065346d8f remove old unused code and variables from TinySpHEAR, some tweaks to comments hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 7a7ee08929 add pictures for printable capsules (resized to 50%) hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 28d589acd1 add pictures for all three styles of connection legs (resized to 50%) hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 520a792bc6 resize TinySpHEAR picture to 50% hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 713682ddd8 add initial TinySpHEAR picture hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 308331ba18 start adding pictures to the README hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 1640bbac4a start to add text to the README file hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano de02365217 add a parameter to the capsule module so that we can make the slot in the mount narrower for a tighter fit, test rig: first test prints of the parts, tweak tolerances so that all pieces fit together, I need to adjust the length of the stalk and the size of the adapter so that the stalk does not move and the skirt is longer so that it grabs better the mount cylinder - the concept works fine and the stop for 0 and 90 degrees works as intended hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano c5199041bb make the wall at the top of the conic section thicker so that the capsule holder ridges have a wider seat, we'll see how this prints as the sloped surfaces are tricky - even the existing conic section does not print very well and has to be refinished by hand hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano a88b11704f initial design of a printable test rig based on the microphone stand mount, it is all flat printable and includes a lever to rotate the capsule holder and a detente that stops rotation at 0 and 90 degrees (cleverly done, I think) - tolerances will have to be added after test prints hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 0116a9ab99 modularize code for capsule test rig hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 1aec65e225 slight change in leg fit for tighter assembly, redo microphone stand mount as one piece that clips into standard microphone mount (will redo all the wiring for the test microphone) hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 206ac01df0 slight change of radius and leg thickness for horizontal legs, 10mm capsule hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano af46822dba tweak radius for vertical legs, return vertical legs to previous size, make stand mount cap thicker so that the stalk has better grip, use mount and sleeve to create the right shaped hole in the stand cap hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 5fa41a392f created a mount that clips on a standard microphone stand mount (and a cap that connects with the amb microphone mount), includes cable slots so that the fully assembled cables can be threaded through, added more variables for different wall thickness for the mount and sleeve hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 67cb5a3edf almost done with the parametrization of the microphone mount, I modified the capsule code to be able to use it to automatically create the right indentations in the mount - I still need to get the depth of the capsule holder indentations to be parametric, ties loose ends and clean up a lot of code hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 59f74d0c0e slice open the mount body so that we can fit already wired microphone capsules into the array, and add a mount sleeve to close the gap in the body, it should mount by snapping on top of the body - with this we have a proper mount that fits all wires hace 10 años
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 33631412b6 with a ridge_width of 2.0 the four wires just fit perfectly around the ridge, so it looks like this mount design is a go hace 10 años
