Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano be9f762d95 the previous mount design cannot house the microphone cables - they are very thin but not thin enough to fit, so I am trying several other designs in this commit, we will have to route the cables externally it seems, ugly... 10 anos atrás
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano a33f148be4 another round of the mount design, the previous one could not be printed correctly (we do not want knife edges in the vertical direction) 10 anos atrás
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 94f5ef0848 a few tweaks in the dimensions of the contact plate and contact position for the test rig capsule holder 10 anos atrás

Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano cbb6a2ad8a rework a bit the mount of the tetrahedral microphone, more exact fit into the ridges, still needs some geometry work so that everything fits exactly together 10 anos atrás
Wisam Reid 361b64e702 everything but pin and stopper 11 anos atrás
Wisam Reid 0b16146068 added Spherical bevel 11 anos atrás

Wisam Reid 848ad08342 Gimbal Clip - Still need to add inner ring 11 anos atrás
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano d177de29d4 even more tuning of capsule holder for test rig, thicker back plate for less flex, move contacts around a bit - we may need to decrease the diameter of the holder as the capsule should have a tighter fit as the contact springs push the capsule out 11 anos atrás
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 8e01706188 more tuning of capsule holder for test rig, added sleeve to model that holds everything together - we need to add more back pressure for the contacts as they are not reliable, more tests needed 11 anos atrás
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano e5c977b2df more tuning of dimensions for capsule holder for test rig 11 anos atrás
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 27bc8d3a84 redo capsule holder for test rig, getting closer to a working design 11 anos atrás

Wisam Reid fc9b089471 fixed part labels for printing 11 anos atrás
Wisam Reid fbee59d9c2 Filled in the section for printing Octathingy parts separately 11 anos atrás
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 3f64d66464 the leg slots have now the correct depth, it does fix the big sphere build process, also separate more the individual pieces for the print otherwise some of the connecting legs get messed up 11 anos atrás
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano b3770542fe small fix for rendering the added rest for legs 11 anos atrás
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 929e744186 add rest for legs - this may make it easier to assemble the structure (this needs to be optimized somehow), fix code for rendering just one capsule, try a new fit with a longer slot and thicker leg 11 anos atrás

Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 4adf66d81e renamed first order microphone file to TinySphEAR.scad 11 anos atrás
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 06a6a6d07c remove commented out code used in the old mount design 11 anos atrás
Fernando Pablo Lopez-Lezcano 0f602fed0e increase the width of the mount ridge, we should do it asymmetric so that they do not bump into each other for microphone radius less than 9.5mm or so - at this point a microphone radius of 9.5mm seems like the minimum practical, 10mm is best 11 anos atrás
